Healing and Facing Training Trauma; Finding Your Truth Again

From talking with some, I've heard that reading the posts on our site bring up some processing. I can clearly remember the feelings. It felt like the depth of hell sometimes as I came face to face with myself. Just to write openly can bring up old training programs and unwanted gut feelings out of nowhere, of doing something you're NOT supposed to be doing, or just general pain or memories. I've witnessed many people go through this, including myself, and it's very normal and somewhat predictable, this process of recovery.

Some have had to put feelings on hold in order to get on with life, and are now letting them up. It's actually a good thing to have things come up, and they will come up in various forms until they just don't have a hold on you anymore. Collapse )

A couple days ago I was talking with someone about how awesome it would be to have a party! A free-for-all celebration!! What fun to go bowling, haven't done that in ____ years! When your friend is 'out' we'll make it so, maybe this summer? I've found that when ex trainers get together, and we do, that it's so much fun.
