Joyeux Noël!

Here are are a few basic things to keep in mind to achieve your correct body weight.  It is well-documented that achieving a ‘normal range’ body weight gives an exponential boost in benefits to your over-all health & well-being with time.  I've done it and have helped others to tune into this information with great success.  Not only can you achieve weight loss but you can eat well too, no ‘dieting’ required.  A weight gain cycle may be originally rooted in bad habits and depression, but it is fixable, not by trying to find the root cause but by simply changing a few things to give your body what it needs re-establish an efficient metabolism and begin to feel good again successfully.

The Lemonade Diet adds nothing to your basic health.  Nor will individual supplements or the latest MLM product.  If you’ve ever wondered why you don’t lose weight,

gain weight, or get sick often, ask yourself if you get distracted by magical thinking and forget to take care of the basics.  By all means we want to keep the good kind of magical thinking, the one that adds creativity and spark to life, but examine the wishful thinking kind that wants to believe and grasp every extraordinary claim or product that comes along.  No matter what your circumstance it is impossible to be overweight (or sick) when you take care of these basics:

  • Eat less calories than you burn if you want to lose weight, more to gain.
  • Eat a balanced, simply prepared and mostly non-processed diet.
  • Make sure to get all required nutrients in every day, mostly by food choices if possible.
  • Make breakfast count nutritionally
  • Don’t skip meals, ever, especially breakfast.
  • Get enough good fats everyday, cod liver & efa (critical to weight loss!)
  • Get enough rest and exercise.

Each word above is important because it is this combination that allows the body to relax and let go of excess weight.  The body will hang onto weight for dear life if these basics are not taken care of.  Finding a good computer nutritional program like FitDay is helpful to keep track of your daily requirements.

True empowerment comes from feeling healthy and happy!

Then there is high level stress. Look at this great summary of adrenal burnout in the link below.  Along with paying attention to a balanced diet, emotional factors play a big role.  The unusually high focus on digging for what is wrong with you, along with the high focus on battle, drama and negativity over long periods of time isn’t good for you.  It’s well known that this kind of focus manifests more of that in your life which further stresses you out, alienates ‘good’ vibration from being attracted to you, and perpetuates a cycle of self-abuse.  From the article:

“Any excessive stress can deplete the adrenals, especially when weakened by poor nutrition. Working too much or emotional stress are two common causes. Excessive stimulation, especially for children, is another cause. Fast-paced, high-stress, fear-based lifestyles are a sure prescription for adrenal burnout.”

Best of Wishes & Merry Christmas, Diane
